- Gary,59, retired from the USPS 4 years ago at the age of 55. He drove a school bus for the next 3 years and loved it. Sally,53, was a stay at home mom who homeschooled, had a children's resale store for 3 years, and did volunteer work. We sold our house in 2007, but Sally got cancer(non-Hodgkins lymphoma). We parked our RV and lived in it while going through chemo. We have now been on the road for 6 months doing volunteer work and we love it!! Add on- it's been awhile since I posted. We have been living in a stick and brick now for 2 years. I relapsed and had to have treatments for the past 2 years. My mom-in-law is needing our care at this time. Miss being on the road. We parked our RV at a campground that has permanent sites and try to spend the summers there and weekends April thru Oct. God is good to us and we have been enjoying being around grandkids again.
